Peter Tholen

Training Standards Captain, L3Harris Commercial Aviation

Peter Tholen is part of the training standards team working at L3HARRIS Commercial Aviation. Peter’s previous experience includes flying with British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Air 2000 and his initial flying career in the RAF.

Peter’s role includes managing the evolution of pilot training such as the implementation of evidence base training (EBT), competency based training (CBT), upset prevention recovery training (UPRT) and utilizing big data to improve training effectiveness.

Peter is a qualified commercial pilot with training and examining qualifications on the Airbus A320 and Boeing B787.
