Dr. Kylie Key
Engineering Research Psychologist, FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute
Dr. Kylie Key is an engineering research psychologist with the FAA Flight Deck Human Factors Research Laboratory (AAM-510) of the Aerospace Human Factors Research Division. Her work supports effective, risk-based decision-making and safety management in aircraft maintenance and inspection operations. Dr. Key earned her doctorate degree in cognitive psychology with a minor in quantitative psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
Safety Culture Assessment in Aviation Maintenance
Dr. Key will describe a new FAA toolkit for assessing and promoting safety culture in aviation maintenance. Particular emphasis will be given to promoting safety culture in a COVID-19 world, and how training can help.
